Cynthia and Jay, a brother and sister team, were both raised in the Orlando area. Their
father, Charles Johnson, skied for “Cypress-Gardens” thus instilling a passion in both
of them for all water sports and activities.
As soon as Jay was old enough to drive, he would load up his Hobie and
spend all his free time sailing the Coastal Waters of Florida. Once
overcoming his fear of seasickness, he ventured out into the deep ocean, so
began his on-going love of offshore fishing.
Cynthia has always been an enthusiast of the water and the
beach. She and her friends would gather after school for
afternoons of skiing and boating excursions. Intrigued by the tranquility
and serenity of the ocean, she discovered her love of sailing and sailboats.
They came upon the opportunity to refurbish an existing in-
land marina and enthusiastically waved Good-Bye to the
corporate world! Now they are putting a “Team-Effort”
into their business with a recreational flair. They both look
forward to meeting new friends and customers with a
common love and respect for the water and boating.
Their combined experiences on the waters of Florida have brought them to where
they are today....Lake Fairview Marina!!! Come in and meet Cynthia, Jay and
